Note

• 1. Set the torque to 40–43 ft-lbs (≈54–58 N·m) to prevent overtightening (which can cause binding) or undertightening (which can result in looseness). Critical Note: After tightening, you must install a cotter pin or anti-loosening device to prevent the nut from coming loose.
• 2. Ball Joint Preload/Rotational Torque Inspection Requirements: The initial rotational torque of the ball joint must fall within the range of 0.3–9.0 N·m to prevent steering binding or excessive play.
• 3. Upon completion of installation, a four-wheel alignment must be performed to adjust the caster and camber angles, thereby preventing abnormal handling characteristics.
